Hello and Happy New Year!
We’re already nearing the end of January, but I still wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a happy and creative start to 2025!
This year, I feel inspired to embrace experimentation and treat Photoshop like a creative lab—a space to mix things up and see what unfolds. I started dabbling with this mindset in my Muse Series, and while it was a lot of fun, I know I can take it much further.
What’s sparking this shift? Recently, I’ve been exploring decorative wall prints for home decor, analyzing trends and popular designs. While I’ve typically created art based on my personal style and for my pleasure, this year, I’m eager to push myself by engaging with current trends and experimenting with new approaches. I’m curious to see where this journey takes me—whether it becomes an ongoing part of my creative process or simply a valuable experience to refine my Photoshop skills.
Trends I’ve noticed is the resurgence of Pop Art and Street Art. Both analog and digital Pop Art and Street Art have gained popularity among artists and buyers over the past few years, and it shows no signs of fading. It is a nice change to try my hand at creating bold, colourful Pop Art and grungy Street Art, experimenting with textures to achieve that edgy street art vibe.
Below, you’ll find some of my Muse Series images, and towards the end of this post, I’ve included a sneak peek at some of my new experimental works.
Stay inspired and keep creating!
