I would like to start this blog post with saying how much I love and appreciate seeing elements from my shop that appears in digital artists' artworks. The creativity and artistry is mind-blowing and exciting. Thank you so much for your support and also emails, and messages of appreciation.
Right now, I'm working on a project called 'Art Studio,' where I'm experimenting with painterly effects for abstract works or additional elements for image artistry. These tools are working well, and I'm excited to share these collections with the first one 'Metallic Art Studio', now available in my Digital Element Shop.
I've also been trying something new for the KAIZEN groups, stepping into minimal conceptual fine art. Drawing inspiration from Brooke Shaden's impactful imagery, I've created the 'A Conceptual Project' collection, which will first be available to KAIZEN groups before going on my website in April.
For this collection, I focused on using faded models and backgrounds to create a nostalgic and eerie atmosphere. I added subtle overlays to enhance the vintage feel without changing the colors too much. I'd love to know what you think of this collection and if you'd like to see more like it.
If you're new to Photoshop, I recommend Sebastian Michaels' Photo Artistry Course. It's a great way to learn how to express yourself through image art.
Here are some images from my 'A Conceptual Project' collection, where I've paid close attention to layering textures and refining light and shadows.

Here follows some layer speed videos of the above images, I hope you enjoy.
LGBTQ+ 2024 History Month Poster
Thank you to forum + for giving me another opportunity to create the LGBTQ+ History Month poster. This will be the 5th consecutive year and what a pleasure to work with Tessa and Aoife. I so admire the wonderful work they do for equality under the LGBTQ+ community. Here is a short article that they published on their website.
Models & Fashion
Last month was the launch of a '50's and 60's Model Collection' which I really enjoyed working with. This lead to the curation of a mannequin brush set that works well as additional elements to these editorial collages. Here are some examples of these collages which are one of my favourite styles to play with.

"Enjoy these fun metallic-like painterly and mixed media elements for your digital mixed media projects. The shimmering metallic JPG sheets can be easily clipped to shapes or text/fonts for a stylish effect."
As for clipping a layer to another layer in Photoshop:
Open your Photoshop project.
Have the layer you want to clip positioned above the layer you want to clip it to in the Layers panel.
Hold down the Alt key (Option key on Mac) and position your cursor between the two layers in the Layers panel.
Click when you see a small square icon with an arrow pointing down, indicating clipping.
Release the Alt key, and your top layer should now be clipped to the layer below it.
You can adjust the position and content of the clipped layer as needed.
Please let me know if you have any questions or requests. Thank you for visiting my website.
I so love your art Marius, you are a wonderful source of inspiration, and just looking at your work is sheer delight 😍
