Marius Els is a London-based photographer and montage artist who creates surreal and theatrical photo illustrations using a combination of his own photography, AI elements and stock images. With his eye for detail and his use of various digital photo manipulation techniques, Marius creates images that are not only visually stunning but also convey poignant stories.

 Marius's journey began as a classical ballet dancer, performing soloist and principal roles before retiring as a principal dancer from London City Ballet. He now channels his creativity through photography and digital art, participating in several exhibitions with well-known galleries such as London Light House Gallery, The Arts Project, Espacio Gallery, and the annual Loudest Whispers exhibition.

Marius's artwork is inspired by a range of subjects, from fantasy to emotional imagery, and his keen eye for detail lends an illustrative quality to each piece. Using advanced Photoshop techniques, Marius expertly blends colors, textures, and shapes to create depth and movement, drawing viewers into his creations. He continuously expands his expertise in digital art through the renowned Photo Artistry courses by Sebastian Michaels.
